I would defend our allies, but I would stress diplomacy in a way that hasn't been done in a long time. I feel like world leaders are scared to talk to each other sometimes. I would have been on Putin's ass personally in a way that Joe Biden wasn't. That said, I don't think of any country or leader as an "enemy". My grandmother spoke to Putin in a friendly way and so can I. Dennis Rodman spoke to Kim Jong Un, these are people you can have conversations with. They can be opponents, but we all have to live on Earth, and that's as basic a goal as there is. That's a goal everybody has, even in Siberia. That doesn't mean agreeing with him or capitulating to anything, it means working out what can be worked out. There's a lot more range there than people think. I would not concede territory on anybody else's behalf though.
I do see disinformation as a serious problem and as a military attack. In fact the US military has been responsible for some disinformation overseas about Sinovac and so on. But Russia and China have absolutely done the same thing to us. Both sides need to roll it back. I would seek a disinformation treaty that agrees for all sides to stop military operations of that specific type and to enforce domestically against private enterprises that engage in them (Guo Wengui's operation etc).
But war and global warming are everybody's problem and they need to be mitigated by working together no matter how anybody feels.
I would also work strongly with Pacific Island nations such as Kiribati on global warming mitigations. My aunt taught in Kiribati when I was young, so it's not a trend or a meme. Growing up in Alaska, we have close ties to the Pacific. I would also put a special focus on defending and improving world fisheries, including by working with BRICS and other nations in positive ways on fish production.
