We're going to do everything possible to bring rents down: Build more housing, limit short term rentals, credits to first time home buyers, and provide incentives to lower rent. We'll also continue the Biden administration's work of going after algorithmic rent fixing companies like RealPage.

What I would do that's new is provide grants to homeowners for repairs. When people can repair their existing homes, it reduces pressure on the market. This would be a targeted program for people who are having trouble with things like repairing a roof.
